Even though my situation was a tough one, my experience with Kirby was an amazing one. I felt like he really fought for me and my family. He was there for us throughout a every challenge, guiding, fighting, redirecting. The reason I chose him was on the day I met him he looked me in the eye and told me he would fight for me. I felt that is what I needed, someone on my side willing to fight. He prepared me every step of the way. Even when I was unreasonable he had a way of letting me know, which is good because during such a stressful time, emotions get the best of us. The first time we went to court, all the other attorneys sat together in the front, talking, laughing and catching up, but Kirby sat by me...that gave me strength to get through. I felt he was professional and would recommend him. He's the BEST! (Michelle D.)

Kirby was amazing and took on my case when I thought I had no hope. He worked hard and continues to support my journey. I highly recommend him! The best feeling when you are in this position is knowing you have someone that will fight for what is right and someone that is truly in your corner. I wish there was more than 5 stars!! (Kate J.)

Kirby is a great attorney. He does not over promise and is very detailed in everything that he does. He kept me very informed throughout the entire process and gave me great legal advice the entire time. He is also very fair on his hourly rate. I had nothing but a great experience with Kirby and would recommend him to anyone. (Jaden L.)

I recommend Kirby to everyone! I used him for my divorce and he helped me every step of the way. I have had to consult with him about a few issues even after the divorce and each time he has kept me calm and has been on top of everything. I feel so blessed to have him as my lawyer and would trust him with anything! (Laken G.)

From start to finish 5 STARS! Kirby and his staff made the inevitably difficult process of getting divorced as smooth as can be! I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and professionalism. I know not everyone has the same situation, but in the end there was no surprises, and everything happened exactly like Kirby said it would. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones, or maybe I just had a great lawyer! Thanks Kirby! (Alexander S.)

The absolute BEST law firm! I cannot say enough about the level of expertise and professionalism of Kirby Minor! Stressful legal situations are made much more bearable with Kirby Minor by your side! My questions are answered promptly and in “regular person” terms! Although no one wishes to be in the need of a lawyer, I know at times I was an unbearable client, but my case was anything but easy. I got the results I wanted and even if I could be gruff at times with him he kept a professional manor. Thank you for all that you do for your clients! (Jill V.)

Kirby and I met by chance while I was in a vulnerable state and he helped my through a few rough situations. His professionalism, drive, passion, knowledge of the law, and dedication was made very evident when he walked me through 2 lawsuits that I felt completely defeated and turned out to be victories (not only monetarily, but victories in knowing my mind and heart were settled as well). I, not one time, had to call/text/email Kirby or worry about the status of a case because he always kept me abreast of every motion, denial, or change at hand. I am beyond grateful to have Kirby Minor by my side and know that he will always abide by the law and his expertise is beyond measure. In saying all of that, 1000% yes I would only recommend Kirby. Kirby Minor has been my attorney twice and he is the best lawyer. He is smart and trustworthy and he always calls back right away and keeps you informed about your case. He is knowledgeable and sharp in many different areas of the law. He is a very compassionate person and you do not find that in most attorneys. I would definitely recommend Kirby Minor as an attorney and you will not be disappointed. (Cheryl S.)

No Contingent Designation of Residential Parent
Statutes require judgment to designate parent for educational and mailing purposes but judgment determining circumstances under which designation automatically changes constitutes a pre-determination of circumstances supporting modification before motion is even filed. Alternating award of tax exemption for child support constitutes a departure from presumed child support amount, and so must stand on a finding that the presumed amount is unjust or inappropriate. Disparity of income does not require circuit court to award attorney fees.
J.D.W., et al., Respondents, vs. V.B., Appellant, Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District - ED101815
No Final Judgment while Property Distribution Is Incomplete
Judgment is not final until it resolves all issues as to all parties, and judgment did not address pension plan either by determining its non-existence or awarding it to a party. Remand to circuit court renders all other orders interlocutory, so Court of Appeals need not rule on order regarding contempt for failure to comply with judgment.
